Training licence for a motorcycleThe right to ride a motorcycle as a learner without the presence of an instructor for the purposes of obtaining a motorcycle licence is granted by the police. The training licence can be granted for a maximum of three months and certain conditions or restrictions may be imposed. By law, a new licence may not be granted without a substantial reason. The training licence must be paid for when submitting the application. A motorcycle that fulfils the requirements of the relevant driving licence category must be used for the training.
